Custom domain name of godaddy to set up in blogger is most likely your website url propagation. As my example of my domain from pinoybloggingtipz.blogspot.com to www.pinoybloggingtips.com
Godaddy assign an IP address to your newly buy domain which is the A record and the CNAME record.
You need to change this record to point this domain to your blogger blog. To do so follow this tutorial post with screenshot and instructions how you can set up godaddy custom domain to blogger to make this easier for you.
1. Log-in to your Godaddy account and hover the mouse on your name at the upper right corner. And now click My Products.
2. After it, click on domain and tick manage DNS.
3. Find the records and choose the CNAME type records, see pictures below.
The details to use are:
Record Type: CNAME
Host: www
Points to: ghs.google.com
TTL: 1 hour
Click save.
4. Next step is to create four more records under the A type record. The details while creating the records as below.
Record Type: A
Host: @
Points To: 216.239.32.21 / 216.239.32.21 / 216.239.36.21 / 216.239.38.21
TTL: 1 hour

You are now done with Godaddy settings. It's now time to configure our blogger blog to publish this domain.
Publish Custom Domain Name to Blogger Blog
1. Login to your blogger dashboard and navigate to settings section >basic and click on the setup a 3rd party URL for your blog.
3. Now click the "edit" link next to the blog url.
check the redirection option and save the setting once again.
4. Now the blog should be visible with the new custom domain.
